STEP 1: Initiate Programming
The first step is to initiate programming. Now all motors are shipped in factory mode, which means neither the open or closed limits have been set. Let’s refer to the limits as the drape stop position. So to initiate programming we’re going to press and hold the up and down buttons simultaneously until the drapes jog. A jog is simply a brief movement.
STEP 2: Confirming the Direction
The second step is to confirm the direction of the drapes. To do this press and hold the down button to confirm the drapes are moving in the closed direction. Release and the drapes will stop. If this is not the case you’ll need to reverse the direction of the drapes. Press and hold the “my” button for two seconds until the drape jogs. The drape direction is now corrected.
STEP 3: Setting the Open Stop Position
The third step is setting the stop position. To do so, press and hold the up button until drapes open and reach your desired stop position. Release the button and the drapes will stop.
Now that the desired stop position has been set we’ll continue with this step by pressing the “my” and down button simultaneously. Be sure to press the “my” button slightly before pressing the down button, this will move the drapes in a closed direction so as to set the closed stop point. Press the “my” button to stop the drapes at the desired stop position. You may adjust by pressing the up or down arrows.
STEP 4: Setting the Close Position
To set the closed stop position, press the “my” and up buttons simultaneously. Be sure to press the “my” button slightly before pressing the up button, this will send the drapes to the desired open stop limit that was previously programmed.
STEP 5: Confirming the Open and Close Stop Position
The fifth step is confirming the open and close stop positions. To do so, press and hold the "my" button for two seconds. The drapes will jog. The opena dn close positions are now confirmed.
STEP 6: Exiting Programming Mode
The sixth step is exiting programming mode. To do so, locate the programming button on the back of the remote control. Then using a small screwdriver, or paperclip, press and hold the button until drapes jog. The programming is now complete, the remote may now be used to operate the drapes in user mode.
STEP 7: Operating the Drapes
Now let’s operate the drapes. To close the drapes press the down button. The drapes will automatically stop at the close position you set. To open the drapes, press the up button. The drapes will automatically stop at the open position you set.
STEP 8: Stopping the Shade Using Remote
Should you wish to stop the drapes at any point, simply press the “my” button to stop the drapes.
STEP 9: Setting a Preferred “My” Position
It’s also possible to program a preferred position. In this example, I’ll set the preferred position at the halfway point. To do so I’ll need to set the drapes in motion by pressing the down arrow, I will then press the “my” button to stop the drapes at the halfway point. Then to set the preferred position, press and hold the “my” button until the drapes jog. The preferred position is now set and can be accessed at any time simply by pressing the “my” button.
